Don't Use Too Much Tape On Your Boom!

Like in the picture you can see a thin layer of tape around the boom windshield. This is used to help see the boom when it enters the saftey of the camera.

Safety areas are when you shoot in wider formats you don't use the full frame of the cameras image for the final film.

Now it's a pet peeve of mine to see people with really wide tape because that will undoubtably effect the quality of the sound. But maybe thats just me, let me know about it down below.
